How to be sun smart?
The key to being sun smart is by putting
on SPF 30+ to have some sun going on your body
So you can have some vitamin D
on your skin to keep yourself healthy.
When the UV index is above 3 you
can reduce your risk of skin cancer.
Did you know that if you use sunscreen
you still get sunburn?


How do you get melanoma?
You can get melanoma from the sun.
And you can get sunburned if your not wearing
sunscreen in under 30-40 min.
You can still get sunburn under the with
sunscreen on your body.
Melanoma is the worst cancer in the world.
In New Zealand melanoma is the most
serious type of cancer over 12890 people
get it in New Zealand.


What is slip,slop,slap,wrap,slide?
First what you need to do is slip on a shirt,
next you need to slop on some sunscreen,
after that you need to slap on a hat,
wrap on some sunglasses,and slide under some shade.

When your outside remember there are bigger stars
than the sun.
